The Artist

Hello

My name is Gracie, I am a western artist from a small little town called Poolville, Tx where I grew up riding horses, showing livestock, and doodling here and there. I currently live in Rosharon, Tx which is a little town just outside of Houston. My grandma is an artist and that is where it all started (I’m pretty sure she still has my ladybug drawings framed in her house). I can remember going with her every Wednesday during summer break to the art association she was a part of and that is really what shaped my love for art!

I graduated from Texas Tech University (Wreck Em’👆🏼) with a Animal Science degree. Once I started drawing more in college and figuring out what I liked to work with, I really wanted to share my art with everybody else!I mainly work with acrylic and watercolor paints and I still love working with graphite as well! No matter what mediums I am working with I strive to depict the beauty of the western industry and create pieces that show different sides of the industry.
